Dear Members and Friends,
I think you all know that there was a disaster in Taiwan (tragic typhoon and floods) on 8th August 2009 (the Fathers Day in Taiwan) which took away hundreds of lives and destroyed hundreds of families and houses. Shall we do something to help the victims in this disaster?
On behalf of “The Association of Christian Accountants Limited” (“ACA”), I would like to invite those Christian brothers and sisters who are moved by the disaster to send in donations to help the victims in Taiwan. Our target is to raise HK$100,000 within one week from date hereof and the money so raised will be sent to Salvation Army, a Christian charitable organization, through their Hong Kong office to Taiwan to serve the needs of the victims.
As a charitable not-for-profit organization in Hong Kong, ACA will issue donation receipts which are tax deductible to donors with the donation of more than HK$100.
You can send your cheque to ACA’s address at 29/F Caroline Centre, Lee Gardens Two, 28 Yun Ping Road, Hong Kong or deposit the donation into ACA’s bank account (HSBC Account No. 400-625000-001 in name of “The Association of Christian Accountants Limited”) and send your pay-in-slip to the said address. Please write down the name and address of the donor with the remark “Taiwan 8.8 Tragedy Relief Donation” on a separate sheet which sent together with the cheque or the bank pay-in-slip so that donation receipt can be issued accordingly.
Please be reminded that the donation call will close on 26th August 2006 (i.e. next Wednesday) and we will arrange to send the amount raised to Salvation Army in Hong Kong towards end of this month. We will inform you of the total amount raised afterwards.
Blessings from the Board of Directors of ACA.
